Can I put wooden blinds in a bathroom?
Real timber, no — humidity will warp it over time regardless of what anyone tells you. Faux wood is a PVC composite that looks the same and is completely unaffected by moisture. That is what we fit in bathrooms and kitchens.
How do you clean venetian blinds?

Basswood is light, warm and genuinely timber — it is the premium option and it looks it. Faux wood is a PVC composite that mimics the profile. In the UAE the choice is mostly about where the blind is going: real wood in a dry, air-conditioned living room, faux wood in a kitchen or bathroom where humidity would warp timber over time. Anyone who tells you real wood is fine in a UAE bathroom has not fitted many.
