Floor-to-ceiling glass on two sides. The sheers cut the glare without making the apartment dark, and the fitters got the drop right to the centimetre above the floor.
Terms of Service
The terms under which we quote, make and install. Written to be read, not to hide behind.
Quotations
A written quotation is valid for 30 days. It is based on the measurements taken at the visit and the fabric selected at that time. Changing either means a new quotation, issued before anything is cut.
Orders and deposits
An order is confirmed when you approve the quotation and pay the deposit. Because everything is cut to your measurements, fabric is committed at that point.
Cancellation
You may cancel without charge at any time before we cut fabric — tell us as soon as you can and we will confirm the status of your order. Once cutting has started, made-to-measure goods cannot be resold and the deposit covers the material committed. We will always tell you honestly where your order has reached.
Lead times
Our stated lead time runs from the day you approve the quotation. We meet it in the large majority of cases. Where something outside our control delays it — a building access restriction, a customer postponement, a fabric fault found at cutting — we tell you the same day rather than letting the date pass quietly.
Access for installation
You need to give us access to the rooms, and where a building requires a work permit, NOC or contractor registration, that has to be arranged with your building management. We will tell you at the visit if we think your building requires one. If our team arrives and cannot get access, we will rebook, and repeated failed visits may be charged.
Existing fittings
Removing old curtains, tracks or blinds is included. We fill and make good the fixing holes we can reasonably reach, but we do not repaint walls, and we cannot guarantee that removing an old fitting will leave an undamaged surface behind it.
Liability
We are responsible for our own workmanship and for damage our team causes. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects in walls or ceilings, or for a fixing failing because the structure behind it was unsound in a way that could not be seen. If we think a ceiling will not carry a track safely, we will say so before fitting rather than after.
Customer-supplied fabric
We will make up fabric you supply, but we cannot warranty a material we did not source, and shortfalls in quantity are not our responsibility. Talk to us before buying anything — width and pattern repeat change how much is needed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
