Wave curtain tape is the strip sewn along the top of a wave curtain. Press studs along its length clip onto the wave runners, and the fixed spacing between them is what gives the curtain its even, continuous S-shaped folds.
We use white 3 cm tape and keep it on 50 m rolls in our UAE warehouse.

What is wave curtain tape?
A tape sewn along the top of a wave curtain. Its press studs clip onto linked runners, which is what creates the even wave folds.
Can I use it with any track?
It needs matching wave runners in a compatible track. We supply the tape, runners and track as one set so the spacing lines up.
Does wave tape work with blackout fabric?
Yes. Wave headings suit both blackout and sheer curtains.

How wave tape works
A wave curtain has no pleats sewn in. Instead, a tape with press studs is sewn along the heading, and the studs snap onto runners that are linked at a set distance. When the curtain is drawn, the fabric falls into identical waves between each pair of runners.

Wave curtain tape: the part that makes the wave
Wave curtain tape in Dubai is what turns a flat panel of fabric into the soft, regular folds that define a wave curtain. Unlike pinch pleat or pencil pleat headings, nothing is gathered or stitched into pleats; the shape comes entirely from the spacing of the tape and the runners it clips onto.
How wave curtain snap tape works
A wave curtain snap tape is sewn along the top of the curtain. Metal press studs run along its length, and each stud snaps onto a runner inside the track. Because the runners are linked at a fixed distance, every fold in the curtain is exactly the same size, which is why wave curtains look so calm and orderly.
