Is a blackout roman blind as dark as a blackout curtain?
Through the fabric, yes — the lining is opaque. As with every blackout product, what decides the result is the fit: face-fixed above the opening with a generous overlap, the room goes properly dark; fitted inside the reveal, you will see light lines down both edges no matter how good the lining is.
Can I choose any fabric for a blackout roman?
Effectively yes. The blackout is a separate lining behind the face fabric, so the face can be any of our catalogue shades — textured 301, plain 302 or jacquard 303. That independence is the main reason to choose a lined roman over a coated blackout roller.
Are they heavy to operate?
