White pleating tape with hook pockets — sewn to the curtain heading so it hangs on hooks from the runners.
SKU PME-AC-HT · Tracks & Accessories
Hook curtain tape is a woven tape sewn across the top of a curtain. It has rows of pockets that take curtain hooks, and draw cords that gather the fabric into a pleated heading. The hooks then hang from the runners in the track.
We keep white hook tape on 80 m rolls.

The tape is sewn along the heading of the curtain. Pulling its cords gathers the fabric into even pleats, and hooks slot into pockets in the tape. Each hook hangs from a runner in the track, so the curtain can be taken down for cleaning simply by unhooking it.
Plastic hooks suit lighter sheers. For heavy blackout fabric, metal pinch pleat hooks hold the pleats crisply and do not bend under the weight.
Hook tape gives a gathered, traditional heading; wave curtain tape gives soft, even waves. Both run in the same aluminium curtain track.

Curtain hook tape in Dubai is the most common heading for pleated curtains, from bedrooms to formal living rooms. It is sewn along the top of the fabric, gathers into pleats when its cords are drawn, and carries the hooks that hang the curtain from the track runners.
Hook tape is a pleating tape for curtains: a woven band with draw cords running through it and rows of pockets along its face. Pulling the cords gathers the fabric evenly along the heading, and the pockets hold the hooks at the height you want the curtain to hang. Because the curtain simply hooks on, it comes down easily for washing or dry cleaning.
A pencil pleat tape gathers the fabric into tight, narrow folds — the classic heading for bedrooms and traditional rooms. It uses a little less fabric than a pinch pleat and looks tidy at every width, which makes it a practical choice for large windows.
With lightweight sheers, plastic hooks are enough. With the heavier blackout fabric most UAE homes choose, metal hooks keep the heading crisp and stop the pleats sagging over time. We match the hook to the fabric weight when we make the curtain.
We supply curtain heading tape on 80 m rolls to tailors and workrooms across Dubai and Sharjah, and use the same tape on our own made-to-measure pleated curtains, so the heading, hooks and track are always matched.
Not sure whether a pleated or a wave heading suits your room? We bring both to the free measuring visit so you can compare them against your own window.
Collected after installation across Dubai, Sharjah and the northern emirates.
The physical catalogue makes the difference. Colours on a phone screen are meaningless — I saw eight shades side by side in my own light and picked a completely different one.
Straightforward from start to finish. The measurer wrote everything down, the quote arrived the same evening, and the final invoice matched it.
Second order with them. They still had the record of my first fabric so the new room matches the old one exactly.
They talked me out of the fabric I originally wanted because it would not hold the pleat at that drop. They were right. That kind of advice is why I have already recommended them twice.
Motorised track in the bedroom. Works well and is quieter than I expected. The remote pairing took two visits to get right, hence four stars, but they came back the same week and sorted it.
Excellent fabric and fitting. Communication in the week before the visit could have been slightly better, but the work itself is faultless.
Full villa, eleven windows. They handled it in one day with three fitters. Having their own warehouse stock clearly made the difference on the timeline.
The dressing of the pleats after hanging is what I noticed. They tied them and left them to set, then came back to release them. Nobody else offered that.
Fitted nearly a year ago. The colour has not faded on the window that gets direct afternoon sun, which is what I was most worried about.
Two tracks in the bedroom, sheer in front. The sun comes straight into that window in the morning and now it is completely manageable.
Ordered on a Monday, fitted on the Friday. Five days from measuring to hanging, exactly as they said. The blackout is genuine — the room is dark at noon.
My daughter used to wake at 5:30 with the sun. First morning after the fitting she slept until 7. That alone was worth it. Fabric is from book 303 and it feels much heavier than what I was shown elsewhere.

Pick up to four and we'll drop the actual cuttings to your door, free, anywhere we cover. Colour behaves completely differently against your own window — this is the only honest way to judge it without booking anything.
