A pinch pleat hook is a metal pronged hook that slides into the back of each pleat. The prongs hold the pleat together and the top hooks onto a runner in the track, so the curtain hangs in sharp, evenly spaced folds.
Ours are about 77 mm long and 24 mm wide — strong enough for heavy blackout fabric.

A pinch pleat curtain has its fullness sewn into groups of folds. The hook slides its prongs into the back of each group, holding the folds tight, and its top hooks over a runner. The result is the tailored, structured heading that suits formal living rooms and majlis windows.
Plastic hooks bend under heavy fabric, and the pleats slowly lose their shape. Metal hooks keep a blackout pinch pleat crisp for years.
They hang from the runners in our aluminium curtain track and the electric curtain track. For a pencil or gathered heading, use hook curtain tape instead.

Pinch pleat hooks in Dubai have more to carry than most, because curtains here are usually heavy blackout fabric hung from full-height windows. The hook is the part that holds each pleat together, so its strength decides whether the heading stays sharp or slowly sags.
Our metal curtain hooks are about 77 mm long and 24 mm wide, with prongs of around 56 mm. The prongs slide into the back of each pleat and hold the folds tight, and the top hooks over a runner in the track. Unlike plastic, metal does not bend under weight, so the pleats stay evenly spaced and upright for years.
A pinch pleat curtain has its fullness sewn into groups of two or three folds along the heading. One of the pinch pleat curtain hooks goes behind each group, so the curtain hangs as a row of crisp, structured pleats rather than a loose gather. That tailored look is why pinch pleat suits formal living rooms, dining rooms and majlis windows.
We include curtain pleat hooks in the UAE with every pinch pleat curtain we make, matched to the weight of the fabric. For workrooms and tailors, we supply them in bulk from our warehouse, so a job never waits on a shipment.
A pinch pleat heading uses more fabric than a wave heading but gives the most traditional, structured finish. Wave curtains give softer, continuous folds and stack more compactly. Both run in the same aluminium track, and both can be motorised.

Went for the double layer after seeing the books at home. Sheer during the day, blackout at night, and the two tracks were installed level to the millimetre. Price on the quote was the price I paid.
The consultant brought all four catalogue books to the flat. Seeing the fabric against my own window in daylight completely changed which colour I picked — the one I chose online looked grey in my living room.
I only wanted sheers for the living room. They did not try to upsell me into blackout, which I appreciated. The chiffon softens the light beautifully and the room still feels bright.
Floor-to-ceiling glass on two sides. The sheers cut the glare without making the apartment dark, and the fitters got the drop right to the centimetre above the floor.
Very good work and a fair price. The only reason for four stars is that the first fitting slot was moved by a day. Once they arrived it took under three hours for four windows and they cleaned up after themselves.
Pinch pleat in the formal sitting room. The folds are even across the whole width, which is the part cheap curtains always get wrong. They hung and dressed them properly before leaving.
Good blinds at a good price. I would have liked a wider colour choice in the roller range, but for the blackout function they do exactly what was promised.
They came all the way to RAK for two bedrooms and still gave me the same fixed price. Fitted in one visit.
Sheers for a small apartment on a budget. They were honest that I did not need a heavier fabric for a north-facing room instead of selling me the expensive book.
Fair work for a fair price. Delivery was a day later than first indicated but they called ahead rather than leaving me waiting.
Book 303 jacquard in the majlis. Guests keep asking where they came from. The pattern lines up across the two panels, which I did not think to ask about and they did anyway.
Simple eyelet curtains for a rented flat, and they were happy to do a small job without making me feel like a small customer.
