Frequently Asked Questions

Pricing, the free visit, lead times, warranty and fabric care. If your question is not here, WhatsApp us — it is the fastest way to get an answer.

Is the home visit really free?
Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. Our team comes to you with catalogues 301, 302, 303 and 401, measures every window you want covered, and leaves you with a written quotation. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing. We cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.
What is included in the price you quote?
Fabric, tailoring, the curtain track, runners, hooks, ceiling or wall brackets, the measuring visit and the installation. It is one figure. Motorisation is the only thing quoted separately, because we would rather you see what the automation costs on its own.
How long does it take?
Three to five working days from the moment you approve the quotation, for most orders. Pinch pleat and roman blinds take a little longer because they are hand-finished. A full villa is scheduled around your handover date. Because our fabric is already in our own warehouse in the UAE, we are not waiting on a shipment.
Do I need to know my measurements before I call?
No. Measuring is the part people most often get wrong, and a curtain cut to a wrong measurement cannot be fixed. Our team measures on site. If you just want a rough idea of cost before booking, use the estimator on this site with an approximate window size.
Which areas do you cover?
Dubai and Sharjah are our core service areas and where we are fastest. We also cover Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Tell us the area when you enquire and we will confirm the visit slot.
Can I see the fabric before I commit?
That is the entire point of the home visit. Fabric behaves completely differently in your own light than it does in a showroom or on a screen — a sheer that looks grey in the catalogue can hang almost silver against a bright window. We bring the physical catalogues so you judge it in the room it will live in.
Do you work with offices and commercial spaces?
Yes. Offices, clinics, hotels, retail and staff accommodation. Commercial orders are quoted on the same basis and move down the volume discount ladder, which makes a difference once you are covering a whole floor.
What warranty do you give?
Twelve months on tracks, motors and stitching. Fabric is covered against manufacturing defects. Normal wear, sun fading over years, and damage from incorrect washing are not covered — we will always tell you the correct care method at handover.
Do you sell fabric wholesale as well?
Yes. Pak Middle East General Trading LLC supplies curtain fabric to the trade from catalogues 301, 302, 303 and 401. The website is aimed at homeowners, but wholesale enquiries are welcome — contact us directly for trade pricing on full rolls.
What payment do you accept?
Cash, bank transfer and card. A deposit is taken at the point of order with the balance due on completion of the installation.

Common questions about buying curtains in the UAE

The questions below the answers on this page are the ones that come up before anyone commits: how long it takes, what is included, whether the visit costs anything, and how ready-made compares with made to measure.

The three that decide most orders

What is included in the price — for us, fabric, tailoring, track, fittings and installation in one figure. How long it takes — cutting, stitching and fitting rather than shipping, because the fabric is already in our UAE warehouse. And whether you have to decide anything before the visit — you do not.

If your question is about a specific product

Each product page carries its own questions, and the guides go deeper on cost, fading, cleaning and headings. Anything not answered anywhere is worth asking on the visit, where you can point at the window.

People often ask do you charge for measuring in Dubai — we are asked this constantly — we do not, and the visit carries no obligation.

Book 303 jacquard in the majlis. Guests keep asking where they came from. The pattern lines up across the two panels, which I did not think to ask about and they did anyway.

Simple eyelet curtains for a rented flat, and they were happy to do a small job without making me feel like a small customer.

Rollers for the kitchen and the study. Wipeable, compact, and the chain is on the side I asked for. Small thing, but they asked first instead of guessing.

I wanted something light for the majlis that still gave privacy from the street. The chiffon does both, and it does not look cheap up close.

Motorised blinds on the high windows in the stairwell — the ones I could never reach. Set to open at seven and close at sunset. Installed cleanly with no visible wiring.

Third quote I took and the only one that included the track, the fittings and the installation in one number. Nothing was added afterwards.

Whole ground floor. The centre overlap on the blackout panels means no light gap down the middle, which was exactly my complaint about the previous curtains.

The physical catalogue makes the difference. Colours on a phone screen are meaningless — I saw eight shades side by side in my own light and picked a completely different one.

Straightforward from start to finish. The measurer wrote everything down, the quote arrived the same evening, and the final invoice matched it.

Second order with them. They still had the record of my first fabric so the new room matches the old one exactly.

They talked me out of the fabric I originally wanted because it would not hold the pleat at that drop. They were right. That kind of advice is why I have already recommended them twice.

Motorised track in the bedroom. Works well and is quieter than I expected. The remote pairing took two visits to get right, hence four stars, but they came back the same week and sorted it.
