Photographed from the actual catalogues in our warehouse. Colour reads differently backlit against your own glass — which is why we bring the books to you, free.
All 12 shades from book 401, draped on the window and lit the way cloth actually behaves. Tap one to see how tab top curtains would read in your own light.
Tab tops carry the curtain on loops of its own fabric, sewn along the heading and threaded onto a pole. There is no metal, no tape and no hook — which makes it the simplest and most informal way to hang a curtain.

Light without glare, privacy without gloom. Catalogue 401 chiffon filters the harsh Gulf sun into…

The combination most UAE homes end up with: chiffon sheer on the front track for daytime, blackout…

Continuous S-shaped folds that stay even whether the curtain is open or closed. The modern heading…
Tab tops read as casual, so they suit rooms that are casual: a child's bedroom, a kitchen window, a guest room, a beach-house-style interior. In a formal majlis they would look under-dressed, and we would steer you to pinch pleat instead.
Fabric loops have more friction on a pole than metal rings do. A tab top curtain does not glide — it moves in small tugs, and on a wide window that becomes mildly annoying by the second week. For anything over about two metres of track we suggest eyelets instead, which look similar from a distance and draw far better.
Wide spacing gives deep, relaxed swags between loops; tight spacing gives smaller, neater folds. We set spacing to the drop and the weight of the fabric — a long chiffon panel needs closer loops than a short cotton one or the fabric sags between them.
Like eyelets, tab tops leave the fabric scalloping away from the pole at the top, so light gets in. It is the wrong heading for a room that needs to be dark. It is a good one for a room that needs to be pleasant.
Tab top is a relaxed, informal heading: fabric loops over a visible pole, no rings, no pleats, nothing tailored about it. That makes it a good fit for a child's room, a guest bedroom, a holiday-home apartment or a balcony room dressed in light cotton — anywhere the point is that the window looks easy rather than dressed. It is the least expensive heading we make, because there is no tape, no hand-formed pleat and no ring hardware.
If you like the informal look but want the curtain to actually draw, eyelet is the heading to compare it against: the same visible pole, rings instead of fabric loops, and a curtain that moves with one hand.
The trade-off is friction. Fabric loops slide over a pole far less freely than rings do, so a tab top curtain has to be walked across the window rather than pulled, and it will not run smoothly enough for a window you open every morning. It also cannot be motorised, and it will not give you a properly dark room — light passes over the pole between every loop. If the window is a bedroom you actually sleep in, look at pinch pleat or an eyelet blackout instead, and we would rather tell you that now than after it is made.

The heading is the part almost nobody asks about and the part that decides how the curtain looks. Here is what each one…

Three words get used as if they were interchangeable, and they are not. One is a construction, one is a performance…

Every curtain in this climate fades eventually. The difference between three years and ten is mostly decided before it…
Fabric loops pass over the pole, so the curtain hangs a little lower and reads as informal. It is the most relaxed heading and the least mechanical.
Tabs grip the pole more than rings do, so a tab-top curtain is drawn by hand rather than pulled with a cord. On a wide or heavy curtain that becomes work; on a modest window it is a non-issue.
The tabs add height above the fabric, so the pole sits higher than you might expect for the same finished drop. That is ours to calculate on the visit, but it is worth knowing why the pole ends up where it does.
Guest rooms, children's rooms and casual living spaces, usually in a mid-weight fabric. For a room that must be dark, a track-mounted blackout does the job far better.
Anyone pricing tab top curtains dubai is really pricing three things: the fabric or material, the making, and the fitting. We quote them as one figure per window rather than as a fabric price with extras arriving later, so the number you approve includes the track or fixings and the installation. Some people search for this as loop top curtains uae; it is the same product. Prices move with the size of the opening and, for curtains, with the fullness the heading needs — which is why two quotations for the same window can differ without either being wrong. The price estimator gives you a figure for your own measurements before anyone visits, and the measuring visit itself is free across Dubai, Sharjah and the northern emirates.

They talked me out of the fabric I originally wanted because it would not hold the pleat at that drop. They were right. That kind of advice is why I have already recommended them twice.
Motorised track in the bedroom. Works well and is quieter than I expected. The remote pairing took two visits to get right, hence four stars, but they came back the same week and sorted it.
Excellent fabric and fitting. Communication in the week before the visit could have been slightly better, but the work itself is faultless.
Full villa, eleven windows. They handled it in one day with three fitters. Having their own warehouse stock clearly made the difference on the timeline.
The dressing of the pleats after hanging is what I noticed. They tied them and left them to set, then came back to release them. Nobody else offered that.
Fitted nearly a year ago. The colour has not faded on the window that gets direct afternoon sun, which is what I was most worried about.
Two tracks in the bedroom, sheer in front. The sun comes straight into that window in the morning and now it is completely manageable.
Ordered on a Monday, fitted on the Friday. Five days from measuring to hanging, exactly as they said. The blackout is genuine — the room is dark at noon.
My daughter used to wake at 5:30 with the sun. First morning after the fitting she slept until 7. That alone was worth it. Fabric is from book 303 and it feels much heavier than what I was shown elsewhere.
Good price, good fabric and a team that turned up when they said. There is not much more to ask for.
Two bedrooms and the majlis, all catalogue 302. The team measured on the Saturday and fitted the following Thursday. What I did not expect was how much cooler the west bedroom is now in the afternoon — the AC stopped running constantly.
Wave track along a six-metre window. The folds stay perfectly uniform whether open or closed. It is the detail that makes the whole room look finished.
