These are the parts that decide whether a curtain works, and they are the parts that fail first. Every made-to-measure order we deliver includes all of them. This page exists because we also supply them on their own — a set of curtain runners or the right hooks costs a fraction of a new curtain, and it is very often the entire repair.
If a curtain in your Dubai or Sharjah apartment has started catching, dropping at one end or refusing to close the last few centimetres, the fault is nearly always in this list rather than in the fabric or the track itself.

The small carriers that ride inside the track and hold the curtain hooks. Wheeled runners for heavier systems, moulded gliders for lighter ones. They are profile-specific — a glider for one track section will not run in another, and there is no universal size — so when we are replacing parts on an existing system we match the profile from a photograph or from one old runner. Worn runners are the single most common cause of a curtain that has started to stick, and they are the cheapest thing on this page.
Dust is what wears them here. Fine sand works into the channel and grinds at the wheel, and a home that keeps windows open in the cooler months goes through runners faster than one that does not. A track that has become gritty rather than broken often only needs the channel wiped through and the runners swapped.
Pin hooks push into the back of a pinch pleat curtain, standard hooks clip into a woven tape heading, and wave systems use their own dedicated hook or glider combination. The hook is what sets the hanging height, and swapping a type changes that height by a centimetre or two. That sounds trivial until you see it: a floor-length curtain that was cut to break exactly at the floor either drags and dirties along the bottom edge or hovers with a visible gap of light beneath it. When we re-hang an existing curtain we match the original hook type, or re-measure the drop if it has to change.
The bracket carries everything — track, runners, curtain and the force of somebody pulling it shut. In most UAE apartments and villas the ceiling is concrete slab with gypsum board suspended below it, and a bracket fixed into the board alone will eventually pull out. We fix through to slab where the geometry allows, and use anchors rated for the load where it does not. Wall brackets above the frame face the same question in reverse: block, concrete and hollow partition all take different fixings, and the plastic plugs supplied in a hardware pack suit none of them particularly well.
End stops close off the track so the runners cannot ride out of the end — obvious in its absence, when the last runner comes free and the corner of the curtain hangs loose. Joiners let a long track be assembled from sections with the channel aligned closely enough that runners pass the join without catching, which is how we cover villa windows and full-height glazing without a break in the curtain.
The overlap arm on a drawing pair carries one curtain slightly past the other so the pair closes without a light gap in the middle — the part that matters most in a bedroom. Cord sets, pulleys and tension devices belong to corded and wave systems, where the cord is what holds the fold spacing even. We keep these as spares because they are exactly what nobody can find when one breaks.
For a straightforward replacement you do not need us in the room. Send a clear photograph of the track end-on, so the channel profile is visible, plus one old runner or hook next to a ruler or a coin for scale, and tell us how many you need. We match it from stock. If the track turns out to be a discontinued profile with no matching part left, we will say so rather than sell you something that nearly fits — at that point a new track is the honest answer.

Three words get used as if they were interchangeable, and they are not. One is a construction, one is a performance…

The making is rarely the slow part. Almost every delayed curtain order in this market is waiting on fabric, on a…

A six-metre run is not a two-metre window scaled up. The things that go wrong are different, and most of them are…
None of this is visible from a sofa, and all of it decides whether the curtain draws smoothly in three years.
They carry the weight and take the friction. Cheap ones bind, and a curtain that snags every time it is drawn is nearly always a glider problem rather than a track problem.
The hook sets how high the curtain hangs relative to the track, which is how the finished drop is fine-tuned on the day. It is also why a curtain can be adjusted slightly after fitting.
They set projection — the distance from the wall — and carry the load into the structure. On a false ceiling the bracket is only as good as what it reaches.
The overlap arm crosses the panels in the middle; end stops keep the leading glider from running off. Small parts, and the difference between a dark bedroom and a lit seam.
Anyone pricing curtain hooks and runners dubai is really pricing three things: the fabric or material, the making, and the fitting. We quote them as one figure per window rather than as a fabric price with extras arriving later, so the number you approve includes the track or fixings and the installation. Some people search for this as curtain brackets uae; it is the same product. Prices move with the size of the opening and, for curtains, with the fullness the heading needs — which is why two quotations for the same window can differ without either being wrong. The price estimator gives you a figure for your own measurements before anyone visits, and the measuring visit itself is free across Dubai, Sharjah and the northern emirates.
These are the curtain accessories in Dubai that decide whether a curtain still draws smoothly in year three, and they are quoted with the window rather than sold loose.

Good blinds at a good price. I would have liked a wider colour choice in the roller range, but for the blackout function they do exactly what was promised.
They came all the way to RAK for two bedrooms and still gave me the same fixed price. Fitted in one visit.
Sheers for a small apartment on a budget. They were honest that I did not need a heavier fabric for a north-facing room instead of selling me the expensive book.
Fair work for a fair price. Delivery was a day later than first indicated but they called ahead rather than leaving me waiting.
Book 303 jacquard in the majlis. Guests keep asking where they came from. The pattern lines up across the two panels, which I did not think to ask about and they did anyway.
Simple eyelet curtains for a rented flat, and they were happy to do a small job without making me feel like a small customer.
Rollers for the kitchen and the study. Wipeable, compact, and the chain is on the side I asked for. Small thing, but they asked first instead of guessing.
I wanted something light for the majlis that still gave privacy from the street. The chiffon does both, and it does not look cheap up close.
Motorised blinds on the high windows in the stairwell — the ones I could never reach. Set to open at seven and close at sunset. Installed cleanly with no visible wiring.
Third quote I took and the only one that included the track, the fittings and the installation in one number. Nothing was added afterwards.
Whole ground floor. The centre overlap on the blackout panels means no light gap down the middle, which was exactly my complaint about the previous curtains.
The physical catalogue makes the difference. Colours on a phone screen are meaningless — I saw eight shades side by side in my own light and picked a completely different one.
Sample content while we collect the real thing. These are written to show the layout — they are not customers, no star rating is published to Google, and they are replaced in the back office as genuine feedback arrives.
